Fully Online

Fully Online Learning

Study from anywhere in the world. All classes are live and interactive - a teacher guides you through every step of the curriculum. Schedule one-on-one practical sessions remotely or visit the campus for your external assessment.

Ideal for international students and those studying from home.

Blended

Blended Learning (Online + In-Class)

Combine the flexibility of online lessons with in-person instruction at our Kingston campus. Theory is delivered online while practical sessions are held in class - the best of both worlds.

Welcome to The Beauty University of Jamaica! We are excited to offer international students the opportunity to pursue their beauty education with us, no matter where you are in the world.

Live Online Classes: All classes are interactive with a teacher guiding you in real time through every step of the curriculum.
Online Exams: Complete your exams online. External assessments (theory + practical) must be completed in person and typically take 4-5 hours.
Planning Your Visit: Our team provides all necessary information to ensure a smooth and successful experience when you visit Jamaica for your assessment.
Supported Every Step: We are committed to supporting our international students with the tools and resources needed to succeed.

Admissions

Minimum Entry Requirements

Minimum Age

17 years or older

Educational Background

Minimum 5 CSEC subjects including a pass in Mathematics or English (City & Guilds Maths/English accepted as a substitute)

Proficiency Test

Required if no pass in Math or English

Documents Needed

Valid ID, TRN, and passport-size photographs

Registration Process

Go to thebeautyuniversityja.org and navigate to the programme you're interested in. All applications must be submitted online.

Select & Apply

Navigate to your chosen course and click Apply Now. Read all provided information carefully, then fill out the application form with accurate details.

Wait for Response

The school will review your application and send an email indicating whether you have been accepted into the programme.

Pay & Secure Your Spot

Pay your deposit and send the receipt to info@thebeautyinstituteja.com. Your spot is only secured upon payment confirmation.

Professional behaviour standards for all students. Harassment and bullying in any form are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated at The Beauty University.

Attendance Policy

Regular attendance is required. Students must maintain satisfactory attendance to sit their examinations and receive their final certificate.

Fee & Payment Policy

All payments are made directly to the bank - no payments accepted at the school. Outstanding fees may affect your certificate issuance upon completion.

Academic Integrity

All work must be your own. Students must pass both theory and practical assessments. One free resit is provided if you do not pass your first attempt.

Certification Requirements

Certificates are issued once all examinations are passed and no outstanding payments remain. Students receive dual internationally accredited certification.

Student Leadership

Every student is encouraged to compete for Class Representative or Deputy Class Rep - roles of responsibility and reward within your cohort.
