Refund Policy

This policy explains which fees are refundable and how refunds are processed at The Beauty University of Jamaica. By registering for a programme, you agree to the terms below. Please read it carefully before making any payment.

Registration Fee

The J$4,000 registration fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. It secures the administration of your enrolment and is separate from tuition.

Tuition Refunds

Where a refund of tuition is approved, it is calculated from the date your written request is received by the admissions office:

• Before classes begin: tuition paid is refundable, less the registration fee and any uniform or material costs already incurred.
• Within the first week of classes: up to 70% of tuition paid may be refunded.
• After the first week and up to the second week: up to 40% of tuition paid may be refunded.
• After the second week of classes: tuition is non-refundable.

Uniforms & Materials

Uniform fees, kits, and materials are non-refundable once ordered or issued.

Cohort Postponement or Cancellation

If a cohort does not meet minimum enrolment and is postponed or cancelled by the university, you may transfer your tuition to the next available intake or request a full refund of tuition paid (the registration fee remains non-refundable).

How to Request a Refund

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to admin@thebeautyinstituteja.com and include your full name, programme, and proof of payment. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 30 business days.
