Admissions

To be eligible you must be at least 17 years old with a minimum of 5 CSEC subjects including a pass in Mathematics or English (a City & Guilds pass in Maths or English can be substituted for the CSEC equivalent - you still need 5 passes overall). You will also need a valid ID, TRN, and two passport-sized photographs. Some advanced programmes have additional prerequisites.

All applications are submitted online through our Apply Now page. No applications are accepted in person at the school. Once submitted, our admissions team will review your application and contact you within 5 business days.

Absolutely. Most of our programmes are designed to take students from beginner level through to professional certification. Prior experience is welcomed but not required for entry-level courses.

PLA allows students with prior massage training or experience to earn academic credit without completing the full programme. It is currently available only for the Holistic Massage Therapist programme, and involves a two-part assessment: a theory test and a practical skills evaluation. Learn more about PLA.

Programmes

We offer programmes across six pathways: Skincare & Aesthetics (Skincare Therapist, Skincare Specialist, and the Esthetician Associate Degree), Advance Aesthetics (Medical Aesthetician BSc, Clinical Aesthetician, PMU Specialist, Aesthetic Laser Technician, Permanent Hair Removal Technician), Massage Therapy (Massage Therapy 101, Holistic and Advanced Massage Therapist), Specialized Massage (Sports Massage, Advance Pain Management, Vacuum Therapy), Beauty Fast Track (Wax Therapist, Lash Technician, Brow Art, Advanced Nail Technician, Makeup Specialist and Makeup Artist), and Add-On CEU units such as Advance Microneedling, Chemical Peels and Lymphatic Drainage. Programme lengths vary. Certificate programmes typically range from 3 to 12 months depending on the subject and learning mode. Diploma programmes are generally 12 to 18 months. Contact us for specific durations for your programme of interest.

Yes, students may combine certain programmes. Our admissions team will advise on recommended programme combinations and scheduling to ensure you can manage your workload effectively.

Fees & Payments

All payments are made directly to the bank. No payments are accepted at the school. Our admissions team will provide you with banking details upon acceptance. Outstanding fees may affect certificate issuance upon completion.

Programme fees typically include tuition, access to your online student portal, student ID card, and insurance discount card. Fees for external certification examinations (NCTVET, AADP) may be separate. Specific inclusions are confirmed in your enrolment letter.

Online Learning

Yes. We offer a fully online learning mode where all classes are live and interactive, guided by a teacher in real time. External assessments (theory and practical) must be completed in person, which typically takes 4 to 5 hours. We provide all the information needed to plan your visit to Jamaica for your assessment.

Blended learning combines online theory classes with in-person practical sessions at our Kingston campus. It is ideal for local students who prefer some classroom interaction alongside online flexibility. You receive the same certification regardless of your learning mode.

All our online classes are live and interactive. A qualified teacher guides you through every step of the curriculum in real time. Recordings may be available for review after class, depending on the module.

Yes! We welcome students from around the world. You can complete all theory and online exams from your country. Your external assessment is completed in person in Jamaica - our team will guide you through planning your visit. See our Student Affairs page for more.

Accreditation & Certification

Yes. We hold accreditation with multiple internationally recognised bodies including AADP (American Association of Drugless Practitioners, recognised by the US Department of Education), NCTVET (Jamaica and Commonwealth), J-TEC (Jamaica Tertiary Education Commission), Niel Asher Institute for complementary therapy, and Pivot Point International. Yes. Our dual accreditation means your certificate is recognised in Jamaica, across the Commonwealth, and internationally - particularly in the United States and United Kingdom. The AADP accreditation is recognised by the US Department of Education, making our certifications valuable for students planning to work abroad.

The BIJ Certificate is our institution's own credential, accredited by AADP and pending recognition by UCJ (University Council of Jamaica). It represents the completion of our rigorous training curriculum and is a mark of professional excellence in the Jamaican beauty industry.

Student Life & Support

Every enrolled student receives a student ID card, an insurance discount card, and access to their exclusive student portal with courses, grades, assignments, and resources. Staff and teachers are available for one-on-one or group support sessions. We are committed to ensuring every student thrives.

Yes. We have a partnership with Renova Spa and industry connections that provide career launch opportunities for our graduates. Our career support team will work with you to identify placement opportunities suited to your skills and goals.
